The Hydra eliminates the need for through holes, this allows the bands to sit completely flat and parallel with the shaft, transfer of power from the band stretch is now absolute , meaning stored power isn’t caught up in bends making every bit of band stretch count, with the DRA system there is virtually no recoil.
